Consolis to offer smaller stores the chance to benefit from faster payment processing enjoyed by multiples.
Small and medium-sized toys and games stores will now be able to switch to the kind of advanced chip and pin, contactless and mobile payment systems being used by major multiple retailers, at an affordable price.
A new, low-cost electronic point of sale (EPoS) payment system is being introduced by Consolis Payments.
Consolis says that it is the first company to focus on offering smaller retailers a direct-to-bank payment solution that links the retailer's EPoS till system, or a stand-alone counter top cash register, to an IP payment terminal.
Benefits include faster payment processing, shorter queues and cost savings enjoyed by the multiples.
"Contactless payments are growing in popularity and the big multiple stores are already equipped to take full advantage of this shift," said Tim Allen, MD of Consolis. "It is now becoming essential for small and medium-sized retailers, such as toys and games stores, to switch to integrated till and payment systems as well."
