Companies on board ahead of the debut of new series later this year.
MV Sports is developing a range of wheeled toys, including scooters and Rubies will produce a dress-up range for both adults and kids, based on the Thundercats characters including Lion-o and Panthro.
Also joining the licensing programme are Character World, which is planning a range of branded bedding and Panini, which will publish the first Thundercats magazine.
The new licensees join Bandai, which unveiled its new toy line at Toy Fairs in New York, London and Nuremburg.
The ThunderCats licensing programme will be supported by new content in the form of an animated series that is due to hit UK TV screens in Q3 2011 exclusively on Cartoon Network.
The series is a joint production between Warner Bros Animation (WBA) and Studio4°C, a Japanese animation studio and is a 21st century re-imagining of the iconic action-packed 1980s series.
