The European nation will get its own edition of the iconic board game complete with locations and cultural icons from the region.
Croatia is to get its own version of the iconic board game Monopoly.
Mr. Monopoly was in the capital Zagreb alongside Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandi, Peter Clements, deputy UK ambassador to Croatia and Andrea Andrassy, yesterday to announce that Croatia would receive the license for the game.
Citizens have been invited to suggest buildings, monuments and cultural icons which they think should make the Croatian version of the popular board game. Entries will be submitted on the official Facebook page and via email over the next four weeks.
The game is set to hit shelves in July 2017.
Monopoly was first launched in the 1930s and has gone on to be one of the most popular board games in the world, having been released in more than 103 countries and printed in more than thirty-seven languages.
