The winner will have their film featured on Microsoft’s official Halo web channel and prizes include video production hardware and software and limited edition Mega Bloks sets.

The contenders will be wittled down to a shortlist of ten on October 17th and Mega’s panel of expert judges will decide the winner a week later on October 24th.

Andrew Sparkes, VP of boys brand management at Mega, said: "Mega Brands and Microsoft have shared a highly successful partnership building an incredible fan base around the toy franchise over the past three years.
