Nick Jr goes head-to-head with CITV in the final, but who won?

Spain may have thrashed Italy 4-0 in the Euro 2012 final, but it was a much closer match between kids' TV companies.

The final of Media Owner 2012, a tournament which pits kids' TV channels against one another, played out earlier this week, between Nick Jr and CITV.

The pair could not be separated in normal time and drew 2-2. So for the fourth time in the tournament we went to a penalty shoot out.

Whilst CITV converted the YTD CH percentage reach decider, Nick Jr put the other four spot kicks away, meaning that the champions of Media Owner 2012 is Nick Jr.

Its status as top seed was justified, whilst the star attraction Peppa Pig helped it to triumph in three penalty shootouts (which is more than can be said for Cristiano Ronaldo).
