A selection of space models help launch a kids fashion range at the luxury department store.
A series of Meccano models are currently starring in the windows of London’s Liberty - the department store famed for its extravagant displays.
A line-up of space themed builds have been commissioned to celebrate the lunch of the new Little Liberty children’s wear department. The displays can be seen in the store's two windows on Great Marlborough Street off Oxford Circus.
One display is home to three models of iconic intergalactic spacecraft - the Tie-Fighter and Millenium Falcon from Star Wars and the NASA lunar landing module, all of which were created by expert Meccano modeller Philip Webb.
A Meccano robot keeps a watchful eye on Liberty's new kids fashion range.
Meccano has also provided a 500-piece chandelier for the kids department inside.
Meccano's UK country manager Sue Barratt said: “It was very exciting to be invited by Liberty to be involved in the launch of its new children’s department. The store is famous for creating wonderful window displays that always attract a lot of attention and this one is no exception.”
