The firm will offer a 'meticulously crafted line-up of exclusives' to toy collectors.
Mattel will cater to toy collectors at this year's Comic-Con, by unveiling a raft of new entertainment collectables exclusively at the event.
The San Diego-based show runs from July 21st to 24th and Mattel has a packed schedule, acknowledging that it has a 'special role' at the convention.
Exclusive reveals include the new Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Voltron Blazing Sword and DC Universe's Swamp Thing.
The DC master-toy partner will host ‘A Heroic Partnership’ seminar, where fans will be given a behind-the-scenes scoop on Mattel’s DC action figures.
WWE fans will be able to give their input on the WWE action figures in a special fan forum.
Other new toy ranges on show include Hot Wheels, Masters of the Universe and Green Lantern and there will be a first look at the Monster High Ghoul Spirit video game.
"Comic-Con is about celebrating pop and entertainment culture, and for us our special role within it is something that we value," said Doug Wadleigh, SVP of global entertainment, Mattel.
He added: "We know what is important to our fans and understand the role we play, and that fans look to us to create brands with engaging storylines, and creating the most realistic and authentic collectibles. This year is no exception and the line-up is sure to be a fan hit."
Also on the bill is Mattypalooza, a toy-collector focused seminar with Mattel’s ‘Master Toy Collector’, Matty.
