New hires and promotions strengthen firm's licensing division.
Mattel UK is expanding its licensing team to support its global strategic initiatives and the growth of its licensing portfolio.
Bethan Parry takes on the newly created role of retail development manager, managing the retail planning and customer marketing for Mattel's Consumer Products business.
Parry's remit will be focused on supporting the firm's licensees' product placement at retail and driving co-ordinated brand programmes at key accounts, together with Mattel UK's account managers.
In addition, Helena Mansell-Stopher has been promoted to senior manager, Mattel Brands Consumer Products UK Category Management. She now oversees all Mattel licensees operating in the UK.
Another newly created role, Mansell-Stopher will be focused on building and implementing the firm's category strategies by brand for the existing portfolio and all new IP launches.
She will work closely with Mattel UK's brand management teams under the leadership of Jenny Watson, the firm's new marketing director, to build and amplify key marketing initiatives across all categories of business.
Both Parry and Mansell-Stopher will report to Johanne Broadfield, senior director for Mattel Brands Consumer Products UK & Eire, Russia and Eastern Europe.
