Makie dolls now available in different colours

Customised Makies include Strawberry Milk, Cocoa Bean and other varieties.

3D printing doll company MakieLab has upped its range of colours.

There are now four colours available, including Strawberry Milk, Cocoa Bean, Pale Pistachio and the original Ice Frosting.

A statement read: "We get these luscious blushes through dip-dying, and this results in a unique mixed-tone effect, just like your skin. Each finish is one-of-a-kind - your Makie's very own."

"We're tickled pink by these lovely shades, and hope you will be too. You can add them in the Makie Creator now."

Shoreditch-based firm MakieLab allows customers to create their own virtual character using its website, makie.me. For a fee, consumers can have their character turned into a physical doll.

MakieLab founder and CEO Alice Taylor previously told ToyNews that 3D printed toys and retail can co-exist.
