Lego names Ninjago Brand Ambassadors

The Cassar Academy of Choi Kwang Do has been crowned Masters of Spinjitzu following UK-wide tour.

Lego launched the tour to find brand ambassadors in conjunction with martial arts schools across the UK as part of a campaign to support the launch of the new Ninjago range.

Following a launch event at Legoland Windsor, Ninjago teamed up with Beano magazine to invite martial arts schools to create and record a two-minute routine. The routines were then uploaded to the Beano website where readers voted.

The Cassar Academy received a prize package which included team outings to Chessington and Thorpe Park, certificates, goody bags and Ninjago products.

Sally-Anne Weekes, brand manager for Lego Ninjago, commented: "This was a really successful tie-up for Lego Ninjago and Beano magazine. It was great to see so many keen martial arts students and give them the opportunity to showcase their talent.

"The Casaar Academy was a worthy winner of our special Masters of Spinjitzu title. Their routine demonstrated a real commitment to the martial arts and to creativity in creating their own material."

Vince Casaar, academy director of The Casaar Academy said: "We’ve loved working with Lego to help launch Lego Ninjago, it’s been a great opportunity for us and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Spinjitzu Challenge.”
