LEGO has kicked off Easter celebrations with a unique flower bed display in Hull, 2017's UK City of Culture.

The unusual flower bed features over 1700 individual daffodils, built entirely with LEGO Bricks, 146,400 of them to be exact, put together by the UK's only LEGO Certified Professional, Duncan Titmarsh.

The LEGO Spring Flowers will remain in place in King Edward Square until 5pm on Saturday 22nd April.  Pop along in the afternoon on Tuesday, 18th April, between 2-5pm and in return for a donation to MIND and Hull Citizens Advice Bureau, the individual LEGO flowers will be available to take home on a first come first served basis.

"It's been a great pleasure to see daffodils in bloom across the city and this new and very special bed of LEGO flowers will bring a further burst of colour to Hull's beautifully transformed public realm," commented Martin Green, director of Hull 2017.

"With the Easter holidays upon us it's another wonderful free attraction for residents and visitors alike."
