Firm utilises social media to spread the word about its latest brand building initiative.
John Crane has unveiled a Search for a Star promotion which will run throughout the summer of 2012, culminating in its next catalogue model being chosen on August 30th.
Once the firm had launched the competition, mums soon began tweeting the news and adding it to their Facebook accounts and within hours the entries began rolling in.
John Crane will couple this social media marketing with an aggressive print advertising campaign using most of the parental and women’s interest magazines such as Gurgle, Junior and Prima magazines.
What’s more, in early spring, the company will begin a series of strategic online advertising to further promote the brand.
