JOB OF THE WEEK: Designers wanted

Games developer Rare is looking for designers to work on the next generation of controller-free gaming.

There’s a new direction in gaming and we are looking for designers to help Rare lead the way.

Microsoft’s Project Natal is all about controller free gaming, changing the way that games are played by using the player as the controller. Rare is at the forefront of bringing Natal to life and is hard at work creating cool new experiences.

So what kind of people are we looking for?

Your experience in games design is not necessarily important. We’re also not too bothered about what roles you have had and what games you have worked on. What we really need is the ability to think differently, think ahead and challenge the rules of what an interactive experience can be.

Think you have what we are looking for? Here’s what we’ll give you in return.

Rare is part of Microsoft Game Studios and offers pretty much everything you need to just focus on creating memorable entertainment. We’ve had 25 years of creativity, innovation and seeing things differently, and we’re just getting started on the next 25 years.

This is a unique opportunity to shape your future, Rare’s future and the future of gaming - so why not get in touch?
