Jigsaws and gin are among the top products to be added to the basket of goods used to track inflation this year.
Clearly UK shoppers are keen to keep their glass topped up with a tipple or two while they put together their favourite puzzle.
The Office for National Statistics updates the Consumer Price Index basket annually to ensure that it is representative of the types of products bought by UK households.
16 new additions have been added to the basket this year, including gin, non-dairy milk drinks and jigsaw puzzles, while mobile phone handsets and menthol cigarettes have been removed.
