The game is a family-friendly adaptation of the ticket redemption arcade game that sees player launch balls at targets to win prizes.

Jakks Pacific has secured a deal with Bay Tek Games to develop a new home version of its popular arcade game, Pull My Finger.

The launch of the ticket redemption arcade game-inspired family gaming title will be held exclusively with Toys R Us fro this December. The product will then launch to wider retail from spring 2018.

Pull My Finger was launched by Bay Tek in 2010 and challenges players to pull a monkey’s finger to launch a ball into a playfield in order to hit targets and win tickets. The game has achieved significant success in both domestic and international markets.

Working with it licensing agency Dimensional Branding Group, Bay Tek continues to develop new IP for future games and is now looking to develop its catalogue of existing IP spanning a history of 40 years.

Future brand extensions could include digital games, board games, toys, character branding and more.

“Bay Tek has a well-established reputation as the industry leader in the design and manufacture of amusement games that emphasise family friendly fun, engaging gameplay an superior design,” said Holly Hampton of Bay Tek.

“We see an outstanding marketplace opportunity to create products and content that will extend our IP to a much broader range or markets and users. Prestigious partners like Jakks Pacific clearly see the appeal and we are excited to be working with them on the Pull My Finger home game.”
