Inaugural Hascon fan expo concludes with Transformers reveals

As the the firm's first ever fan convention draws to a close, fans compare notes on several major reveals dropped at the Rhode Island event.

This weekend saw the launch of Hasbro's inaugural fan expo Hascon, with thousands of fans of Transformers, My Little Pony and toys of all shapes and sizes descending on the Rhode Island Convention Centre.

The firm hosted many activities for fans to enjoy from Jedi Lightsaber training to exhibitions displaying costumes and props from blockbusters including Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Hasbro also used this stage to reveal new products in its Transformers: Generations Power of the Primes line. New for the final part of the Prime Wars trilogy is the Prime Masters, small bots like the Titan Masters but each imbued with the power of a Prime.

The new nine-inch figures are set to hit store shelves in Spring 2018, retailing for $49.99 in the states.
