ICTI Care explores subcontracting in the industry in its latest webinar

Titled Subcontracting in the Toy Industry: Hiden Risks and Fake Factories, the webinar will examine how ITI Care evaluates and monitors subcontracting in the industry.

ICTI Care will be exploring the topic of subcontracting in the toy industry in a new webinar taking place on October 13th this year.

Titled Subcontracting in the Toy Industry: Hiden Risks and Fake Factories, the webinar will examine how ITI Care evaluates and monitors subcontracting in the industry.

"We'll explore what's allowed for ICTI Care certification and the dangers of fake factories," read a statemtn from the firm.

"We are also proud to be joined by Ines Kaempfer, executive director of CCR CSR, who has the extensive experience in supply chain mapping for global companies.

"CCR CSR tackles subcontracting in pursuit of their mission to permanently improve the lives of children, young workers, and working migrant parents. Research shows that higher risks of child labour, human trafficking, industrial accidents and other compliance violations occur in unchecked subcontracted facilities.

"To mitigate these risks, CCR CSR developed a tool to help quality control and buying teams raise red flags on social compliance issues."
