Hasbro plots Cleudo mobile app

Hasbro has launched a mobile game based on the popular board game, developed by Marmalade Game Studio.

Hasbro and Marmalade game Studio are extending their partnership with a new mobile game app based on popular board game Cluedo (known in other territories as Clue).

Marmalade's digital version of the Cluedo game is the first ever faithful conversion of the classic family game for mobile devices, available now on iOS and Android.

The game features recognisable characters such as Miss Scarlett and Colonel Mustard, and Dr. Orchid. The classic Tudor Mansion is brought to life in a 3D rendition of the game board and in 2D scenes, immersing the player in the game world on the go.

"We are thrilled to see the Clue game brought to life in the digital world," commented Mark Blecher, senior vice president of digital gaming and corporate development at Hasbro. "Marmalade Game Studio has created a faithful adaptation of the much loved game that is sure to delight fans around the world."

"Marmalade is excited to be extending its relationship with Hasbro as we deliver the Clue/Cluedo mobile game to a global audience," added Mike Willis, CEO of Marmalade Game Studio. "By bringing this iconic game to mobile, we are giving a new audience a much-loved game in a new, digital format."
