New puzzle was inspired by a photograph taken by competition winner, Louise Asekokhai.
Gibsons has revealed a brand new jigsaw puzzle set, in time for National Puzzle Day.
The puzzle is based on a photograph from competition winner Louise Asekokhai, who won the contest held by Gibsons to have one submitted photo painted by artist Emma Ball and turned into a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle.
Entries were submitted online last year and the winner was selected by Gibsons’ product development team. Louise Asekokhai’s winning photograph features the brightly coloured fishing boats that have docked at Cadgwith Cove.
“Jigsaw puzzles have been a core part of our business for over 30 years” said MD, Kate Armitage, “so to celebrate National Puzzle Day, we wanted to offer our devoted fans a chance to have their image turned into a jigsaw puzzle that could be enjoyed by thousands.
"Louise Asekokhai was the lucky winner as we felt her photo would suit Emma Ball’s distinct style. We’re really pleased with the end result and hope everyone enjoys piecing the scene together.”
Aptly named, The Fishing Village, the 500 piece puzzle is presented in a compact, square gift box measuring 16x16x7.5cm. The jigsaw will join Gibsons’ Emma Ball gift puzzle range, which includes eleven jigsaws that are presented in compact gift boxes and stylish cardboard tubes, depicting scenic landscapes from all over Britain.
The Fishing Village is available now and can be found in garden centres, High Street department stores, independent toy shops and online.
