Vinyl figure-maker Funko has announced several new lines to its Pop! Vinyl collection including some unexpected forays into pop culture.
The firm has confirmed a line based on seminal metal band Metallica, which features all current members of the band, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo.
Elsewhere the firm is cranking up the hype for the Winter of superhero ensemble Justice League following the success of Wonder Woman, with a new line of Justice League vinyl figures. Fans can learn more about Bruce Wayne and Aquaman as well as a series of variant special edition figures at San Diego Comic Con.
Meanwhile, Funko has honoured a much-beloved TV star, with their Bob Ross Pop. The soft-spoken creator and host of The Joy of Painting who passed away in 1995 has a worldwide fanbase who can pick up this adorable figure in August.
Finally the firm has branched out into props with the announcement of a life-size Rick & Morty portal gun. This roleplay weapon will hit retail in November, featuring a variety of lights and noises for fans to enjoy.
