Forbidden Planet to roll out exclusive Halo line up

Novels, comics, action figures, high-end replicas, giftware, homeware, clothing and apparel will all feature in the newly develop line up.

Forbidden Planet has teamed with Microsoft and 343 Industries to bring a portfolio of Halo products to its stores across the UK.

Novels, comics, action figures, high-end replicas, giftware, homeware, clothing and apparel will all feature in the newly develop line up.

The collection will be added to Forbidden Planet’s successful Halo ranges including books, toys, clothing and more.

The deal – brokered by Beanstalk – aims to develop the brand further with a licensed direct to retail range featuring exclusive product.

Omar Khan, forbidden Planet licensing and special projects manager, said: “I am incredibly excited to bring Halo to Forbidden Planet. We have loved fighting for the UNSC since 2001 and it is extra special to see a line of exclusive clothing, homeware and giftware in-store and online.

“We’re looking forward to a close licensing and retailer partnership with Micorsoft and 343 Industries, commencing with the launch of products tied to the much awaited Halo Wars 2.”

John Friend, head of consumer products at 343 Industries, added: “Forbidden Planet stores are the best place to find great sci-fi and pop culture collectables, clothing and books in the UK.

“We are big fans and thrilled that the UNSC and Banished will be building bases there for the launch of Halo Wars 2 and beyond.”

The Forbidden Planet London Megastore will host a launch day for the first wave of DTR ranges, coinciding with the release of the forthcoming Halo Wars 2.
