Fast & Furious Scalextric sets on the way

Hornby teams up with Universal Pictures for new slot car range due May 2013.

A range of Scalextric sets based on vehicles from the popular Fast & Furious films will zoom to retail in May 2013.

CPLG, the licensing agent for Universal Pictures' Fast & Furious franchise, has announced a new agreement with Hornby Hobbies.

The range will launch in time for the next movie in the series - Fast & Furious 6.  

"The Fast & Furious films are known for their impressive range of cars and the characters’ racing skills,"  said Paul Chandler, Marketing Manager at Hornby Hobbies Ltd. 

"We are looking forward to providing fans the opportunity to take their own piece of the action home, to recreate the fast paced races in their front room."
