Famosa and Turner CN Enterprises reveal new Boing tablet

Kids will be able to watch key Cartoon Network shows on new device.

Famosa is teaming up with Turner CN Enterprises to launch the new Boing Tablet.

The device will enable children to watch their favourite Cartoon Network shows on the go, wherever they are, and comes pre-loaded with a number of episodes from popular series.

These include Adventure Time, The Amazing Adventures of Gumball and Ben 10, which currently air on Boing, the leading free to air commercial kids channel in Spain.

The 'drop proof' tablet also contains apps, drawing programmes, books and quizzes. Every month, kids will be able to download new episodes and apps protected by parental controls that prevent them from having unsupervised content. The controls will also allow parents to see where their children browse and for how long.

"Famosa's Boing tablet is a perfect combination of first class content and a market leading technology that reflects our wholehearted commitment to digital delivery of our top brands and content," said Alan Fenwick, VP, Turner CN Enterprises.

Eduardo Garagorri, chief marketing officer at Famosa, added: "Boing, which airs Cartoon Network's children's shows is hugely popular in the Spanish market. As a result of this deal, children can now watch their favourite TV on the go, at the pool, in the car or at home, and parents can be confident they are doing so safely."

The Boing tablet is now available in Spain and retails for €159.99.
