Engino and JCB team up for construction toy launch

Children will be able to recreate famous JCB machines with the new construction sets from Engino.

Engino, manufacturer of construction toys under the Qboidzm Inventor and Discovering STEM brands has partnered with JCB to produce a line of construction toys based on the iconic brand of machines.

The Engino JCB series consists of four different pack options varying in price from £19.99 - £69.99. Each pack contains three different JCB models that can be built including the iconic JCB 3CX Backhoe Loader, JCB Telescopic Handler and JCB Skid Steer Loader to name a few. The larger sets also include a motor which brings these models to life.

Youngsters can also use the sets to make creations of their own or use the 3D instructions through the Engino 3D viewer app to show the models in rotatable formats which allows pieces to be viewed in a completed or exploded view.

"We are thrilled to expand the Engino range with the world famous brand that is JCB," said Costas Sisamos, owner managing director of Engino.

"Construction is at the heart of both brands, so to work with JCB was such a natural fit for us. The range will be launched at Toy Fair and we are certain it will be received well by trade customers and consumers alike.”

"The JCB licensing programme has grown from strength to strength and we’ve known for a while that adding construction kits would be a great addition," said Sam Johnson, general manager worldwide licensing JCB consumer products.

"When we embarked on conversations with Engino, we knew it would be a great partnership due to their expertise and innovation in Construction Toys and their enthusiasm for JCB.  We hope the sets help to inspire the next generation of engineers.”
