Disney to spread Christmas magic with new gift initiative

Disney Store has outlined plans for gift heroes and gifts of the week to offer inspiration to gift buyers.

Disney Store is rolling out new initiatives to assist gift buyers this holiday season with the all-new Disney Gift Guide and in-store gift experts, who will personally assist all shoppers seeking the perfect gift for a friend or family member.

Additionally, every Monday a new Gift of the Week will be revealed with a new offer at a special price, which will be offered for one week only in-store and online, and a sneak peak at next week’s offer will be available at the same time.

Gift experts aim to make the shopping experience easier by offering in-depth knowledge of Disney brands from Princesses to Marvel to Star Wars.

Families can also participate in free in-store crafting activity to create and personalise their own gift tags or recreate the fun at home by visiting the events page on the Disney Store website and downloading the tags.

As part of the holiday festivities, Disney will also be donating soft toys to charities across Europe, to help bring a touch of Disney magic to children in local communities. This festive season, Olaf from Frozen has been chosen as the Christmas gift and a number of soft toys will soon be making their way to children’s charity, Together for Short Lives and In-Kind Direct in the UK and Children in Hospital Ireland in the Republic of Ireland.

As part of the campaign, Disney is encouraging customers to use the hashtags #DisneyStoreUK and #giftmagic when posting their purchases on social media.
