This month Funko are treating fans of cult Cartoon Network sci-fi comedy Rick & Morty with a new line of blind-boxed Mystery Mini figures. Loot Crate has often been referred to as the Santa Claus of geekdom. Ok, I'm the only one that calls them that, but these guys have brought happiness to geeks and worldwide for years now. Previously their output has been restricted to traditionally geeky fodder from comic books, movies and video games but now the company its expanding its reach to wrestling memorabilia. The WWE Slam Crate will include figurines, toys and accessories based on popular wrestlers. The firm also confirmed a new Halo Legendary crate, gathering merchandise from the FPS game series.
Mega Construx has announced that they will be bringing pocket monsters to the construction toy space with Pokémon Mega Construx. The line boasts sets that will allow fans to build Pokémon settings and battle among buildable, articulated figures of their favourite Pokémon. Mega’s Pokémon licensed line is the newest addition to the Construx brand, which will be available for purchase from this summer.
