From Minions to cute dolls to obscure Japanese video games, this week's collectable corale has something for (almost) everyone!
Fair season rolls on with this week's Spring Fair getting underway at Birmingham's NEC. While it's been a slower week in collectables news, there's still no shortage of announcements coming out from some of the biggest names in the toy industry.
Australian powerhouse Moose Toys (creators of the Shopkins phenomenon) has announced a new line of collectables in the form of Mineez, a line of licensed collectable figures based on upcoming animated family film Despicable Me 3. The line will see the ubiquitous minions characters making their first foray into the world of collectables, with this blind-bagged pocket money range.
Mineez will feature the largest selection of Despicable Me characters to date, including characters from the new film as well as hundreds of others from the movie series and short-form content. The line will launch this Summer, coinciding with the release of the film.
Another internationally renowned franchise making its entry to the collectables space this week is critically acclaimed indie video game Rocket League. Developer Psyonix has announced it has partnered with Zag to create a line of blind-bagged mini pull-back racers featuring designs from the game such as Octane, Dominus, Masamune, Hotshot, Grog, X-Devil, Merc, and Backfire, along with four limited variants. Boasting over 15 million players worldwide, Rocket League is one of the most successful independent games of all time and will surely find an audience in the toys space. Expect this range to hit shelves in the Spring.

Another videogame franchise entering the world of collectables is Kingdom Hearts. Hot off the heels of the release of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue on PS4, Funko and Square-Enix have revealed the first glimpses at the Disney characters from the line including Donald, Goofy and Chip & Dale. These adorable figures will also be available in keychain form.
Finally, MGA Entertainment has announced the UK launch of incredibly popular blind-bag range L.O.L. Suprise. Dubbed the 'ultimate unboxing toy' the L.O.L. Surprise has taken YouTube by storm with top unboxing videos netting up to 5 million views. As such, YouTube star Tiana from Toys AndMe will be making an appearance at the toy line's launch in London.
With over 45 combinations to collect, from Rockers to Merbabies, each L.O.L. Surprise comes complete with its own water feature, bathtub, doll stand and hangout, all doubling up as a purse.
