‘The Championship, now in its 27th year, continues to be a top class evening for all those who attend,’ says Paul Lamond’s Richard Wells.
Scottish Perudo player Chris Cadman has secured the prestigious Silver Perudo Cup trophy to become the ultimate Perudo Champion at this year’s World Perudo Championships.
During the 27th event of the annual liar dice championships, the Glaswegian took home the accolade after a year of qualifying events.
The final was once again hosted by presenter Konnie Huq at the Groucho Club in Soho, where Cosmo Fry; inventor of Perudo, celebrities, toy industry players and qualifiers from the regional events all bluffed their way through.
"The game of Perudo has never been more popular and the enthusiasm for it continues to grow year on year,” said Richard Wells, MD of Paul Lamond Games.
“The Championship, now in its 27th year, continues to be a top class evening for all those who attend and it was fantastic to see players from Europe making the effort to travel to the UK, not just once but twice to play this addictive game after reaping the rewards at the qualifying event.”
