Character Option has announced it has appointed Youth dance leader Hakeem Onibudo in on board to lead the marketing campaign for the wearable music product SoundMoovz.
Character Option’s new wearable motion-activated musical bands, SoundMoovz are set to launch with a high octane Marketing drive bolstered with the appointment of Onibudo who will host the retail launch event and an exclusive press event.
July 1st and 2nd at Stratford’s Westfield will see SoundMoovz showcased to the public for the first time, with repeat dance performances and product demonstrations in the central gallery the entire weekend. Taking over the restaurant at the OXO Tower on July 4th will swiftly follow, at what is deemed to be the toy industry press junket of the year. Onibudo and his crew will also return for more retail events throughout the summer taking SoundMoovz nationwide.
“We first met Hakeem in London whilst hosting the national youth dance exhibition Move It; we knew immediately that he was the man to take our SoundMoovz launch to another level," commented marketing manager, Mark Hunt. "He is deeply immersed within the UK dance scene and has a great synergy with the brand. Hakeem is already working directly with the inventor to produce a show-stopping performance at our two launch events which will be streamed live on social media."
