Cartamundi launches Shuffle Subbuteo card game

The Shuffle Subbuteo card game allows players to pass, tackle and beat the goalie by timing moves, choosing tactics and outwitting opponents.

Cartamundi has teamed with Hasbro to launch the latest in its Shuffle collection, with a digital Subbuteo card game.

Similar to the iconic table top game, the new Shuffle Subbuteo card game allows players to pass, tackle and beat the goalie by timing moves, choosing tactics and outwitting opponents.

Aimed at kids aged six and upwards, players can choose either the red of the blue team as the game arrives with a free Shuffle Subbuteo app adding a digital twist to the popular game, with a scoreboard timer and stadium sounds.

The Shuffle Subbuteo card game is available for delivery to toyshops, gift shops and supermarkets from January 2016.

Priced at £6.99, the game is expected to be a ‘big favourite with families, kids and football fans.’

Trudi Bishop, head of marketing and licensing at Cartamundi Group, said: “Shuffle Subbuteo is a great way for football fans of all ages to enjoy their favourite sport in a go-anywhere, play-anywhere format, and the app is a real crowd pleaser, too.”

Shuffle Subbuteo now joins a line-up of hit licensed titles under Cartamundi’s digital portfolio, including the likes of Shuffle Twister, Monopoly, Cluedo, Trivial Pursuit, My Little Pony and Play-Doh.
