Hasbro picks the pop-star to promote a forthcoming electronic version of the game.
Hasbro has released details of a new dance-focused version of Twister called ‘Twister Dance’. Britney Spears has been chosen as ambassador for the new product.
Kids place movable Twister spots on the floor and then follow instructions from an electronic console, which incorporates LED lights. Players will be encouraged to show off their individual style with hand and foot movements. One or two people can play.
Twister Dance will include Spears' Till the World Ends as well as songs by Ke$ha and Will Smith offspring, Willow. MP3 players can be connected, so people can dance to any song. The packaging includes the singer's image.
The game's ambassador, Britney Spears, said: "As soon as I saw the new Twister Dance game, I knew I wanted to be involved. I think kids will love rocking the spots and dancing to the music as much as my boys and I do. It’s a lot of fun."
Hasbro is set to release Twister Dance in the autumn.
