Board Game Club enjoys successful debut

Following inaugural event, organisers now wants more games to join.

Board Game Club, the brainchild of Playtime PR's Lesley Singleton and Toyology's Peter Jenkinson, enjoyed a successful debut event when it launched earlier this week.

Held at Brew Dog in Shoreditch, the night saw creatives, journalists and board game fans take on a range of different games including Cards Against Humanity, Linkee and Bananagrams.

"The feedback has been fantastic," Singleton told ToyNews.

"'This should be a weekly feature' is probably one of my favourite tweets. The hashtag worked well and people really got into things.

"Certain games seemed to work better than others but I really do think we had something for everyone - even Mastermind."
