The retailer sold more Moshlings last weekend than it did in the run up to Christmas 2011.
A nationwide Bank Holiday retail event to celebrate the launch of Moshlings Series 4 has helped The Entertainer achieve massive sales.
Stores up and down the country opened early and held Moshi swap shops and competitions for kids.
Despite it being a rainy one, parents and kids turned up in droves to get their hands on the latest wave of Vivid's popular Moshi Monsters collectable.
“We opened our doors at 8.30am expecting queues around the block and we weren’t disappointed," said Stuart Grant, buying director at The Entertainer.
“The Moshi phenomenon is incredible; we have already sold more Moshi toys over this Bank Holiday weekend, than we did in the run up to Christmas last year.”
Vivid has estimated that it's Moshi Monsters lines will achieve in excess of £75 million this year.
