2016 Rubik's Championships to be biggest event yet

This year’s championships will kick off on Friday November 4th to Sunday November 6th at The Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel.

The Rubik’s UK Championship is set to return to Bristol this weekend for the biggest event yet.

Kicking off on Friday November 4th to Sunday November 6th at The Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel, the event is set to have the biggest turn out yet.

During the competition, current UK champion Robert Yau will compete against other speedcubers from 18 different countries.

“We are thrilled to be sponsoring the annual Rubik’s UK Championships for the eleventh year in a row,” Lynette Norris, marketing manager at John Adams Leisure Ltd.

“It’s always great to see the speedcubers from around the world come together to enjoy something they all love – speedcubing. This year promises to be the busiest and most exciting to date and we are looking forward to seeing who comes out on top.”

The Rubik’s UK Open event boasts a traditional 3x3 competition, as well as 2x2 Rubik’s Cube, 4x4 Rubik’s Cube, 5x5 Rubik’s Cube, 3x3 Rubik’s Cube one handed, 3x3 Rubik’s Cube blindfolded and 4x4 Rubik’s Cube using only feet.
