21 toys are honoured; Flair, VTech and Character Options win the most.

After months of toy testing and deliberation this year’s Creative Play Award winners have been announced.

Part of Creative Steps magazine, the awards were designed to recognise 'excellence in creative play products, kits and resources.'

Dawn Hopley, editor of Creative Steps commented: “We are delighted with the number of companies who entered products this year, proving that these awards are becoming a desired addition to the creative play sector.

"The quality of entries was again extremely high, recognizing the importance the toy industry places on creative products.”

VTech secured one win for the InnoTab in the Electronic and Multimedia category as well as three 'Highly Commended' selections for its electronic learning products.

Flair won an awards for Trio Magic Creations and Glow in the Dark Geomag, as well as Highly Commended for Gummi-X.

Character Options picked up two wins for Let’s Cook on the Go and Sea Monkeys.
