Last week we bought you the story of Heidi, the daughter of Drumond Park's Ross McDonald - Heidi has been raising funds for charity The Silverlining by taking part in the Virgin Active Indoor Triathlon.

At the time Heidi was just shy of her goal of £2,000, but thanks to contributions from those in the toy business, she has pushed her total past £3,000.

Heidi said: “I would like to thank all those who have donated monstrous amounts of money to The Silverlining Charity – they are supporting other people like me who have suffered ‘Traumatic Brain Injury’ & are helping us get our lives back together.

"Silverlining is helping be through my ‘TBI’ – and knowing there are other people in similar circumstances, helps us all to help each other.”
