New figures reveal Mind Candy brand is number one overall in toy market for fifth month running.
New NPD data (YTD 2012) has revealed that Mind Candy's Moshi Monsters is the number one property overall in the toy market for the fifth month running.
Five Moshi Monsters items currently feature in NPD's top 50 items (YTD, August 2012), with the Collector Figures, Blind Bags and Gold Tin all appearing in the top ten.
At retail, The Entertainer has also revealed that Moshi Monsters is the number one selling brand, with merchandise sales currently double that of the store's number two toy.
"We had a firm vision for where the brand would sit at retail and the roll out plans," said Darran Garnham, chief business development officer at Mind Candy. "We laid the foundations for retail success back in 2010 and it's great to see that execution and back to back months topping NPD.
"We're thrilled with the success and hope the fans will enjoy our upcoming announcements of more Moshi key lines, Monster breakout characters, Moshi key boy lines, as well as our top toys for Christmas."
