Secret prizes in 30 Smyths toy shops; Research from Bandai reveals two thirds of kids believe in aliens.
Bandai has installed ‘alien attack’ boxes containing the new Omnitrix Challenge wrist watch in 30 Smyths locations around the country.
The first person to uncover and open the boxes in each of the secret locations will win products from the latest Ben 10 Omniverse range.
Also, each child to visit the alien attack box will receive a ten per cent discount on the new Ben 10 range in Smyths for Saturday 29th only.
“Our Ben 10 Omniverse toy range has been highly anticipated and we are thrilled to see it start to land in toy stores across the country,” said Andrew Welch, product manager for boys brands at Bandai UK.
To further celebrate the release of its new Ben 10 range Bandai UK has comissioned research into kids' beliefs on aliens.
More than two thirds of children (65 per cent) believe in aliens, while only 57 per cent of adults do.
Also, 41 per cent of kids say that they have actually seen an alien or a UFO, compared to 25 per cent of adults.
Product manager Welch added: “With the popularity of brands like Ben 10 and children’s vivid imaginations, it is easy to see why believing in aliens is widespread amongst children.”
