The retailer has "no plans" to offer its US toy reservation service to British shoppers.
This week Toys R Us announced a new service which will let US parents reserve this year’s hottest toys with a few clicks on the internet.
The retailer pledged that the reservation facility would put an end to parents' “frantic searching in the days leading up to Christmas”.
US customers can pick toys to reserve from a list of 50, nominated by Toys R Us.
However, British mums and dads will not be spared any potential 'frantic searching' this year - Toys R Us UK has told ToyNews that it has "no plans" to replicate the service here.
