Steerable ride-on tested rigorously over past eight months to meet US requirements.
Worlds Apart’s ride-on product Skoot will make its way to the US this autumn/winter.
The range will arrive in the States through California-based toy company Diggin.
The news comes after Worlds Apart put Skoot through its paces on a simulated journey to Paris – or 400 miles worth of testing.
Worlds Apart’s MD Neil Shinner said: “Over the past eight months Skoot has been subjected to rigorous reliability and durability trials, exceeding requirements required for European and US testing requirements.
"We have literally ‘skooted’ non-stop to Paris and exposed it to aggressive accelerated ageing and abuse testing, again, all well beyond normal compliance expectations.
“The reason we’ve done this is that unlike others, this is a steerable ride-on that can be used every day, both indoors and out, as well as an aircraft cabin friendly piece of carry-on luggage, so it has to perform.
“We don’t believe there is another product near this price point that offers anywhere near the same amount of fun, performance and functionality, and we will continue to ride Skoot well beyond consumer reliability expectations.”
