Humbrol street art brightens National Railway Museum

Graffiti Kings workshops sponsored by Hornby Hobbies paint brand.

Hornby brand Humbrol has been on display for the past two weeks at the National Railway Museum, having sponsored a series of street art workshops.

The Graffiti Kings have been creating a number of pieces at the Museum, with Humbrol supplying all of the materials to create the artwork now on display.

The Graffiti Kings and visitors have recreated a traditional travel poster and also a family street art travel poster using over 700 Humbrol acrylic spray paints, which the firm donated to the event.

Zoe Roberts, public programmes developer at the Museum, commented: "We've really enjoyed working with the Graffiti Kings on such an exciting project. This striking artwork has not only enabled us to engage with our visitors in a completely new way, but it has allowed items from our collection to be viewed from a very different and unique perspective."

"Working at the NRM over the last week running our street art workshops has been really great," added Graffiti Kings' Darren Cullen.
