Harrods' new 26,000 square-foot Toy Kingdom cost the posh department store millions and has been designed to be a ‘multi-sensory’ experience, doing away with boy and girl signs in favour of themed areas.

For example, the The Enchanted Forrest is a fairy and woodland area containing the likes of Sylvanian Families alongside arts and crafts, while The Odyssey is a space-age gadget zone which includes construction toys.
