Neoworks, Hybris and Red Ant develop ‘m-commerce solution’ for toy chain in the UK.
Toys R Us has launched a brand new mobile website for UK customers who want to shop online while on the move.
The site was developed by e-commerce consultancy Neoworks, software provider Hybris and agency Red Ant. It supports key features including Click and Collect, a stock availability checker, QR code driven purchasing, as well as the retailer’s loyalty scheme.
Users can also search for local stores, browse special offers and instantly switch between Toys R Us and Babies R Us.
Toys ‘R’ Us head of e-commerce Will White said: “We were the first bricks and mortar retailer in the UK to go online back in 1996, and since then we’ve made it our business to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to enhancing our customers’ experience with the latest technology.
“This mobile platform is a fundamental part of our commitment to give access to our products and promotions any time, anywhere. Our customers expect – and deserve – nothing less.”
Neoworks director Rick Hobbs added: “A fully integrated mobile platform is an essential element in today’s competitive marketplace.”
Alex Sbardella, Red Ant’s head of mobile, commented: “We worked closely with Neoworks to deliver a mobile solution which has the customer at its heart. It’s simple to use, with a straight path to products and, ultimately, purchase.”
