Michael Pape becomes new Equitoy chairman

Exec takes over the reins of the Association for Toy Importers for the next two years.

Ravensden director Michael Pape has become the new chairman of Equitoy, the Association for Toy Importers.

Pape - who will hold the role for the next two years - takes over from Jon Holland, MD of Holland Publishing.

"I am thrilled to ne at the helm of such a progressive organisation," said Pape. "I hope to bring together the skills and experience of the entire membership to push the message of good practice of business and safety issues within the toy industry."

Holland - who will continue his membership and ongoing support of the organisation - added: "I have enjoyed the support of all the members and thank them for all their input over my time as chairman. I wish Michael all the best for his term of office."

Equitoy is best known for its position on advice and help on toy safety issues and changing regulations. It also looks after such subjects as customs, legal and insurance for members.
