Fisher Corporate appointed to help find a partner to develop brand as a doll again.
Sindy could be about to make a return to the toy aisles, with IP owner Pedigree seeking a partner to turn the brand into a mass market doll once again.
The last time that Sindy appeared on the High Street as a doll brand was with Woolworths, which closed its doors at the end of 2008.
Now, Pedigree is seeking a licensee to develop and invest in the doll business, as chief executive Jerry Reynolds told the Financial Times.
"What we are looking for is not money," he said. "We are looking for commitment and the wherewithal to develop the core doll range and to take it forward."
Sindy already has a number of licensing deals in categories including stationery and apparel, and is handled by Bulldog Licensing.
