"As a resident of South London the Olympics has been all around me for a while now.

It has caused a few minor inconveniences in my area and given the local press plenty of font pages about the fencing off of our local royal park and the sprucing up of graffiti filled walls.

Although I’ve largely ignored the Olympic excitement that’s currently touring the country I will admit it is great to see that the population seems to be backing Britain now, after some concern that it would be seen as a London games."
