During Simon Mayo's drivetime radio programme earlier this week, the presenter took part in a news quiz.

One of the questions was about game and puzzle sales over the Bank Holiday weekend. the presenter asked the panel;

‘The miserable weather we had over the bank holiday contributed to a big boost in the sale of board games and jigsaw puzzles according to John Lewis, what was the number one best seller last week? Was it: A) Articulate B) I Love Great Britain Puzzle, or C) The Diamond Jubilee Puzzle

Beating Articulate and Gibsons’ I Love Great Britain puzzle, the Diamond Jubilee jigsaw surpassed all expectations over the bank holiday.

During deliberations Mayo said: "I don’t think people will buy the Diamond Jubilee just yet". Once the answer was revealed to in fact be Gibsons’ Jubilee puzzle, Simon joked: "Peaking a bit early there."
