An extravagant model of Queen Elizabeth II will be unveiled as part of a recreation of Buckingham Palace at Legoland Windsor next month.
Described as one of the most expensive Lego models ever made, this 10cm Queen is set to sparkle, with a Lego crown encrusted with diamonds worth thousands of pounds.
Lego Liz’s 1.5cm crown is a special commission from jewellery designer Dinny Hally. It is made from silver and encorporates 48 specially cut diamonds.
The Queen – who celebrates her Diamond Jubliee in June - will be accompanied by Lego models of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Kate and Wills and Prince Harry.
