The Disney studio announces its next three films.
Disney-Pixar looks set to provide the toy industry with another mega licence in the shape of The Good Dinosaur – a film which sees humans and dinosaurs co-existing on Earth, set for release in 2014.
With toy dinosaurs being a staple of toy shops everywhere, The Good Dinosaur could potentially rival the increasingly lucrative Cars franchise.
The two other Pixar projects, one based on the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos – or ‘Day of the Dead’ – and the other an untitled project from Up director Pete Docter, will also be released in 2015.
The latter will “take you to a place that everyone knows, but no-one has ever seen: the world inside the human mind,” according to Docter.
Pixar's next release, Brave, will open this year's Edinburgh Festival.
