The portrait is made from over 16,000 Hama beads and measures 70 x 55 cm. From its head office in Denmark, each bead was carefully placed following a picture design and then ironed to make the finished portrait.

David Allan, sales and marketing director, said: "We were overwhelmed with excitement when Hama made this magnificent Portrait of the Queen made entirely from Hama Beads.

"It will be available for a key retailer to display in their store."
